申请加拿大联邦技工类移民，申请人必须符合以下5项要求：
- 拥有加拿大雇主签发的聘书（聘用时间至少一年）或 获得加拿大省、地区管辖的执照认证机构出具的上岗资格认证书；
- 符合最低语言能力要求。申请人的语言能力，由指定的语言测试机构进行测试-雅思IELTS，四种语言能力（口语，阅读，写作，口语）达到最低门槛5级（CLB Level 5）; 举例说明：CLB Level 5的每项能力应得分数: -听/Listening: 5.0 -读/Reading: 4.0 -写/Writing: 5.0 -说/Speaking: 5.0
- 在过去5年内，拥有至少2年的本行业经验（取得执照后）；
- 职业描述，技能和经验符合《国家职业分类》系统 （National Occupational Classification）NOC－ B 或 NOC－C 的要求。
- 申请时未到3000配额上限 （A类 每项职业配额100， B类 每项职业配额无限制， 但A类B类总数未超过3000配额）
