- u3 ^: C4 U7 s" ~One night I had a dream
' Z2 i+ R3 K* C2 C3 Y5 I6 p: VI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
8 [8 C' N9 `. K! I' j/ P' ?  y9 E0 IAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.9 Z# B' h, n' @) e( ?3 E& Z
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,. X: r. O# \( A8 H% ]) N1 h) r9 C
one belonging to me3 q. U. H, U9 C0 |8 X
and the other to my Lord.% U+ ?1 V! F4 d+ v
When the last scene of my life shot before me
  A0 p% ^# G' |* c. W1 R: EI looked back at the footprints in the sand.1 X( G7 P- q; a" n  Z5 c1 ~) n4 {
There was only on set of footprints.( ^0 F% @: j* W$ N
I realized that this was at the lowest
: l; M( x8 H3 b+ A9 S/ cand saddest times in my life.
  h4 a- P# J/ Y) S2 ^; z- U$ _( e% AThis always bothered me
$ G) m0 U/ q0 Oand I questioned the Lord
" O; s" z/ ^  x) Gabout my dilemma.
' a% h6 ^. R, C$ T, Z  B"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
) Z' \4 @" A. u7 lYou would walk and talk with me all the way.1 }1 ]( @& m# Q
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
( L0 }4 I8 l, g$ A6 Mtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
4 [1 \* O5 x4 W& VI don't understand why, when I needed You most, 7 Y* L; _! q- U- k
you leave me."2 O  S+ w- y' t
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,+ t; M5 s* \; J
I love you and will never leave you
