+ R+ G; x7 v8 y4 KOne night I had a dream0 o# H1 K- ]. V/ B& j4 r
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.. ?$ e, ]' H4 }& P
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.3 O* k! T0 T' v4 L6 o6 Z7 x
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,$ e" q5 S9 ], O1 M$ i% T
one belonging to me
( r6 l6 k) m) x5 x$ L* ?0 o) aand the other to my Lord.
( _0 R6 a9 k' }9 {* y/ aWhen the last scene of my life shot before me3 V& e" D) u( R8 ~
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.) {+ x$ B0 P; r; \) R" C+ w7 c
There was only on set of footprints.
8 a' K9 A5 o0 a: OI realized that this was at the lowest
; \" S: S7 k. Z# f! g- n5 Zand saddest times in my life.* m7 k: r# \8 N2 F# p9 \& O
This always bothered me
# a3 Q# M: Q+ e; C# T/ o" n- \and I questioned the Lord! ?  ?, ^- o1 @* _
about my dilemma.
2 H2 T* r: l9 ]1 I"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,- J6 U9 s! m  @
You would walk and talk with me all the way.! D! Q; }9 R# u5 f9 H- z- h1 U
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome + Z, }! d6 J7 z
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
; n, r9 L" h7 |3 B: |! rI don't understand why, when I needed You most, # g' t9 ~7 T5 v0 |
you leave me."% e) x" ]0 h3 s6 l
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
! o. x# J% a' s8 b& |I love you and will never leave you5 m: g! p& L- L
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.5 T& t' [- x% ~
When you saw only one set of footprints
