: W5 _+ h- O* i; \. c; YI was walking along the beach with my Lord.( G4 @; R, T4 @
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
0 G7 X2 Q+ y$ Z$ c1 rFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,; o  a+ U4 c% x
one belonging to me* \+ c1 m; k" j" K0 i. G6 Z$ s
and the other to my Lord.5 {- n6 m: d5 D- l& l
When the last scene of my life shot before me
3 Y1 ^' I1 l, Z2 `I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
1 O& S0 x8 T# U8 r; ^: s. D0 W8 iThere was only on set of footprints.
" _, W& f1 }, v% s6 _I realized that this was at the lowest
4 ~* p7 ^- T) r$ y5 F  jand saddest times in my life.
% V# \$ y2 B/ d, p! \: P8 gThis always bothered me
! [) U% E# E- ]2 E# h+ Mand I questioned the Lord
1 E- v% ]- D# O0 Wabout my dilemma.
% [0 P% g# Y9 A5 H"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,6 x7 B' F+ H$ [7 a8 t5 z8 O# g
You would walk and talk with me all the way.- A( L' o/ r/ D. b
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 8 J9 y  }4 p. K$ G" T8 k% A8 X: y
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.0 x: |1 b5 h$ g# q; S2 T5 [
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,

He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,' E0 y( i3 a, d, ^

never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
