Cosmetology School: To become a certified hairdresser, you will need to complete an hairdressing program at a cosmetology school. To choose what school is right for you, you must do your research and consider the course curriculum, the location of the school and financial commitment of the esthetics program. You can search for registered cosmetology schools in the searchable professional directory.
Hairdressing Certification Exam: Once you have completed your training in a cosmetology institution, it's highly recommended that you register to challenge the hair exam. Once you have successfully passed our examination, you will become a Certified Cosmetology Professional (CCP) in hairdressing.
