Footprints in the Sand

One night I had a dream0 w, _4 f  A+ x+ J
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
: J# n. g9 R: i  @6 s* M) R8 p2 uAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life." T2 }4 n, T0 o5 J' R
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,% i6 |$ J3 C" i
one belonging to me
; g) w7 }/ @$ Zand the other to my Lord.# f% E2 k! y% x1 b+ ^! a
When the last scene of my life shot before me
1 p/ u, W7 a: NI looked back at the footprints in the sand.' x7 m4 X9 [* w7 y& V& m9 H
There was only on set of footprints.
+ l$ C! M: Z$ A1 ^; V( T4 ?I realized that this was at the lowest
1 V3 _  Y# s8 [; E4 B& \7 X4 qand saddest times in my life.
- z1 h  p9 T# P' S; }This always bothered me

"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,

; p1 \$ p) d1 _+ @5 j0 ttimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
