1 o7 ?; F2 A' ^% b( b2 oOne night I had a dream
0 L0 p  T% ~2 k$ }I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
( _3 ^, a3 Z+ J0 j6 l- ]9 DAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
* W, V+ W+ i/ j4 u5 J5 }4 EFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,3 v4 t' ~* i/ X
one belonging to me
; @% r7 h6 F' e4 ]' O; `  fand the other to my Lord.. J9 V4 X: ^" g& ^9 r
When the last scene of my life shot before me
9 o9 I0 d, r8 l7 ?I looked back at the footprints in the sand.# M* o: F  s) p, ]# o
There was only on set of footprints.
& F2 S# W; E; R% K6 s+ l$ ZI realized that this was at the lowest * x+ Z  g) |  O& y7 [
and saddest times in my life.
1 l1 _- n& N( z* @9 B" l( _This always bothered me
( O1 s8 y; W7 `1 ?8 _! d1 z6 Rand I questioned the Lord: w! F9 R% y2 i5 L
about my dilemma.
/ l% \! S; j( Y8 j) k  I$ F2 _"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
7 Y; {. b/ P# o, ~6 OYou would walk and talk with me all the way.7 z5 P+ A! n8 W! ?2 E9 d! I
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
  C7 m2 |0 n+ u* @1 z9 W0 xtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints./ u( E  d* q2 b7 `2 Y
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, ; o3 a* U" {5 X) v  E
you leave me."$ {1 T4 z' P! S0 P+ }
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
& f$ ]& S" A7 q# j. b. Z7 YI love you and will never leave you3 W. z( }3 `& K) F6 b3 P1 J" z# s; D8 U' I

It was then that I carried you."
