Lord,
) V" @ r( U( y8 n. |: w# V; h' shaving transformed) w' _! E' ~# U
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
" Q4 A( i7 P# q1 F5 vinto food upon which we are soon to feed,
: \/ g; Y0 r& Hwe thank you for life and we want to stay well,
, g$ }: R; v% M& j, v4 d; d: Aso we promise to rub our hands with Purell.
; Z9 h# E; f: \ T3 r% [2 [We who came first and are ready to dine: n6 C& k1 j6 F1 e2 |; V
thank you that we’re not still waiting in line,
Y3 w( q. J; K0 j* B) hbut for those who are hungry and eagerly wait,
8 J) M3 B; R! w* _9 i1 mwe shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.1 r9 [; Y! U Z# H4 Z& H
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others " v8 E. ]% K, X+ {$ J: b
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted
5 j3 E9 o! a r1 }( C5 T bthe aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted

and thanks for all blessings in body and mind,
