最近TFSA可能是大家比较关注的话题，我在网上做了一下信息收集，希望能让大家一次了解各大银行提供的TFSA。我发现不仅各大银行的利率有不同，而且还有一些大家容易忽略的问题，我都收集了下来，给大家一个参考。所有利率和产品以1月15号各大银行网页提供信息为准。

Anniversary bonus interest is based on the average of your daily closing balances over the year and is paid into your account the next business day after your anniversary date. For purposes of interest calculation, your first year starts from the account creation date and ends on the anniversary date, which is one calendar year after the account creation date.

* 根据每年只有$5000的limit，客户能拿到的最高利率应该只有3.08%，除非他们对特殊客户还有特殊利率，因为有朋友好像说能拿到3.75%的，有待考证。

Well，你可以自由选择开TFSA的银行，你既然选择这家银行，自然也就选择了他们的TFSA的产品。你自然不能在CIBC开一个TFSA，然后要求他们给你TD的利率。各银行的TFSA下的savings, GICs等的利率都是自定的。所以你还是有选择权的。

TD的这个5年的GIC利率的确是我看到过的最好的。另外BMO的2年GIC，3.5%也是挺不错的，不过1月19号就要下调到3.25%了，要买的话就要抓紧了。如果是买来做RRSP的话，我觉得2年或5年这样的long term investment还是不错的，起码利率比较高。

另外有一点我想提醒大家的，我知道有些客户在不同的银行开立多个的TFSA账户。我个人并不建议大家这样做。太多的账户并不好管理，很容易go over limit，一旦超过，政府就要罚款。如果是看到哪个银行提供自己喜欢的利率，比如是今年看到TD有这个5年的利率，觉得不错，就买足$5000。明年如果BMO有一个2年的GIC也不错，也可以到BMO买$5000。这样操作的话还好管理一点。但是如果现在就一下子开了2，3个TFSA，这里存个$1000，那里存个$2000，过段时间又从这里取出$500，这样倒来倒去，真得是会头晕眼花的。

哦，我明白你的意思了。你说的对，以满地可银行为例，一般的non-registered investment的种类在一下这个链接你可以看到http://www4.bmo.com/personal/rates/0,2278,35649_3507283,00.html

但是如果是RRSP的话，种类和利率就又有所变化和限制了，在这个链接：

如果是TFSA的话，种类和利率又变成：

打个比方，像BMO Airmiles GIC就不能做成RRSP或者TFSA。所以就像你说的，你只能购买银行提供给你的选择。


还有，你说的那个Prime-0.9的5年variable open mortgage，现在银行已经不再offer了。不单是指这个利率，现在在BMO，我们甚至已经不再offer5年和6年的variable open mortgage了。很多朋友看了你的帖子都来找我，嗬嗬，现在这年头可是没有这种好事了。

应该很多银行都有吧，我知道在TD是有的，在BMO是 BMO Investorline。里面的TFSA，客户可以自己买卖股票或MF。
