Special Pick Up Service
Extra refuse pickup (non-recyclable items) will be collected on a call in basis. The cost is $30.00 per cubic metre (minimum $30.00) and is for residential use only. To arrange for a special pick up please call 250-475-5595.
Extra Cans and Stickers
There is a maximum of 2 extra cans per collection with residential stickers attached. Residential stickers are currently $2.50 per can. Stickers can be purchased at the Saanich Municipal Hall, Saanich Public Works Yard, or any of the Saanich Recreation Centres.
Saturday Refuse Drop-Off
Excess refuse may be dropped off year round from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
SATURDAYS ONLY at Saanich Public Works, 1040 McKenzie Avenue. The costs are as follows:
Cans or Bags $ 2.50 each (min. $5.00 charge)
Small Truck (approx. 1m3) $15.00
Full Size Truck (approx. 2m3) $30.00
For disposal of extra refuse during weekdays, please go to Hartland Landfill at #1 Hartland Avenue, (turn left off West Saanich Road) or Ellice Recycling at 524 David Street.
