FRAUD OPERATION ALERT
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Dear Guild members and others,
Recently two Vancouver B&Bs have been the target of a Fraud operation. It is likely that the two principle individuals - Joseph Lau and Andrew or Sean Bishop may be looking for another place to set up. Typically they are looking for a room that they can book for several days and even better if they have easy access to the room. The police have been notified and are hoping that we can do our part to catch these two.
If you get a request/phone call/on-line reservation from either of these two - Lau or Bishop, accept the booking, check them in as usual and when you can, dial 911 to notify the police. Quote this case number: 12-69993. You will be informed as to how to proceed.
