I just heard about this yesterday, and did a quick search online about thedrywall issue, I am shocked to know that we have them in Canada(especially Vancouver area), too, and wondering why we haven’t heardmuch about it in the news at all. Anyone heard about this before or has any similar issue in Victoria?

Canadian homeowners in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland have alsocomplained of problems with Chinese drywall. In May 2009, variousCanadian media outlets reported that about a dozen homeowners in MetroVancouver had experienced health problems caused by the drywall. Thecomplaints were reportedly coming from Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby andWest Vancouver.
Published estimates said as much as 929,000 square meters of Chinesedrywall arrived in Canada through Vancouver between 2001 and 2007. Inaddition to lower British Columbia, some Chinese drywall may have beenshipped to Canada’s Prairie Provinces and as far east as Toronto.”
