BC自由党引进HST，很多省民反对。 Gordon Campbell为此不得不辞职。今天BC会有新的省长产生， 据说Christy Clark可能会胜出，那我们就会有个女省长。以下是我们taxpayer 需要关心的，这些候选人的竞选观点：
1。 Hydro rates could rise 30 per cent （电费会涨30％）
2。 BC Ferries may double fares on northern route （北方线路的渡轮费涨一倍）
3。 Most British Columbians and major employers will face a six-per-cent hike in monthly Medical Services Plan premiums effective Jan. 1, 2010 to match the rise in health care spending this fiscal year.The MSP hike won't be a one-time deal. MSP premiums will continue to rise each year to keep pace with escalating health care costs, the budget said. （MSP 会在2010涨价的基础上每年上涨）

这些涨价都是针对中产家庭，而减税的政策都是为大的Co-operation公司制订。有点郁闷中～～～～

希望Victoria的本地华人能更多的关心本地选举事宜. 如果本地华人能团结起来，我们的总选票完全都可以左右市长的选举。 比如说：2008年Dean Fortin 已7706， 45.76％张选票当选市长。2005年Allan Lown以8690，51.93％   当选当年的市长。在Victoria，说中文的人数在2006年由9270， 现在应该更多。如果1／3的华人选同一个人，哪个候选人都会非常重视华人团体的利益。老话说的好：团结就是力量！
