I have taken quite a few biology courses- very challenging for almost all students, not only for Chinese. I bought a small digital recorder, read all the difficult words and spell them out a loud and record myself. Then I listened to them when I was cooking or walking or doing other things. It is very effective and it really saved me l lot of time on that. Never try to translate English words into Chinese words unless you don't understand them in the context.
