One night I had a dream
, A2 \- n! m- t. Q5 o6 vI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
- i2 i, K& ?9 A/ nAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.) P4 @+ \* r9 j/ i+ n* M
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
6 \3 g" W: b' C+ O6 b5 Gone belonging to me
& Y5 \( W- d, F; ~% e9 {8 `and the other to my Lord.6 v% H: \8 U- E, b: O( K
When the last scene of my life shot before me7 C; Y% `) l' u7 \0 S
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
+ _9 U6 T+ x/ B7 q  p0 F6 kThere was only on set of footprints.0 J7 X, |2 b; [% X% E  @, o
I realized that this was at the lowest
! X9 D- C6 W- s% [; I. G+ gand saddest times in my life.! V- z; N# \5 X
This always bothered me ! J4 @$ x3 m6 n" |
and I questioned the Lord
3 e5 A) s! Z0 m8 o( Oabout my dilemma.9 x' L3 ^- i. K8 X  W% P% o' o& y
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,8 f9 }7 u$ t8 t) p  ~( g
You would walk and talk with me all the way.0 _  _0 k7 A+ F6 d  C* W. K
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
) m( f4 w- O4 Ptimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
- q3 t5 @4 n8 k6 M- I6 W  yI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
5 o: Q! p5 r& n; Z5 r" xyou leave me."* K* R4 H' H& A% z8 Q$ }" s! U
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

When you saw only one set of footprints
