One night I had a dream  f) N$ S" B5 V* a" b
I was walking along the beach with my Lord." E3 z/ J3 D. i! o
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
" \! i& {: J6 ]' z( |5 S- j# }5 cFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,* p6 A' L' }& j) E; b
one belonging to me  Z2 w7 c) y/ \, G
and the other to my Lord.
7 q1 e' J8 J$ ]. ?; d1 \% VWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
" E4 ?; f  g# u- EI looked back at the footprints in the sand.4 `8 \# [, d3 j8 M, I- k
There was only on set of footprints.
8 Z: |' @. X/ k, N' _& XI realized that this was at the lowest
) \/ w+ T+ i8 v6 {and saddest times in my life.
/ O7 Z: S% X1 J+ _* e- [' NThis always bothered me
2 ]8 q. n/ H% g) Jand I questioned the Lord3 a& I8 p. {' t7 F4 r* U) X
about my dilemma.
& O$ _: A5 X( _& {8 I# H: t2 z) F- H$ O* m"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
0 _1 B1 D7 q; f: |2 n1 ]6 \9 J% D8 N+ wYou would walk and talk with me all the way.) L7 b# S( p+ u5 ]5 [
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
8 O) C: M2 a! S9 \$ Mtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.# d. i* A+ Y: b- d
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 0 L8 d7 X# J+ z1 i3 j; n8 w2 E
you leave me."
