( K5 O- r% ^& a4 T, JOne night I had a dream
! g+ ~0 o# h7 p5 n8 nI was walking along the beach with my Lord.6 T2 M. ]2 f: K. F6 j* l, j
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.0 Q& G" j: D0 @( K8 d4 q6 l
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,) ]: l' n0 O7 H! I" V
one belonging to me' q6 t/ V6 l; p
and the other to my Lord.7 b6 d* f9 `4 Z& k& ^5 W! g  W
When the last scene of my life shot before me
3 t3 p1 g/ U% h2 ?% OI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
6 T3 ~4 G+ _8 q' D- o: @# pThere was only on set of footprints.7 Z) ?% W/ Z; X8 X/ a) _8 O
I realized that this was at the lowest * J5 i  e- y6 o2 H% j" }$ i3 I2 G* K
and saddest times in my life.
* @7 G; l! i( \% zThis always bothered me % f. f: Q  a( q: V/ F2 S: }: L) h+ ~
and I questioned the Lord- e4 {( r# _( m: r$ S9 }2 A
about my dilemma.
& c$ W. w: Z# r"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,, M+ [) j1 I# j2 n  L: V' {$ Q
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
7 |2 O4 I. i$ R- eBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
4 h# B# m# G9 J: R6 o( ptimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.# A! P  t* t0 o2 R' C3 j& L
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
