Next week a ‘blood moon’ will be visible across large parts of North America. On Wednesday morning at 6:25am Eastern time the moon will pass into Earth’s shadow, making it appear red.
This is the second blood red moon in a series of four (a tetrad) throughout 2014 and 2015, first of which occurred last April. Seventh time this has happened over the last 2000 years. Should be very visible on the west coast.
