March 9 we served about 440! Everyone who arrived by about 6:40 gotfood. Some who arrived after 6:45 found very slim pickings, asleftovers had already been announced. And we all know what happens tothe remaining food then! People seem to enjoy the board games nowavailable around 4 pm when some people arrive to stake out tables. Somestudents study. We have wireless. Open mic is March 30, the lastdinner. In the suggestion box there appeared to be a coalition ofresponders asking for dinners during the exam period. I ran this ideaby a couple of our key volunteers. Alas, they responded with gentle, good humoured and self-controlled (never to say hysterical) chuckling. We get pretty tuckered out by the end of March, so I decided not pushthis idea any farther.
