One night I had a dream
7 N! V3 T' P$ u" L! @5 {( ]I was walking along the beach with my Lord.8 j5 u9 v9 d- C+ L  {! ?
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
& H) }, i% `% bFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,& N- ?% d, x+ \) J
one belonging to me
1 F: w. H. _* Z, `8 O. G# Mand the other to my Lord.
5 L" ~3 v, ?$ z9 z+ EWhen the last scene of my life shot before me% a3 s5 F0 \4 O) p. u! j
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.1 I8 n! h% u  m2 ^5 A0 q
There was only on set of footprints.9 N0 ]4 J1 z5 p1 m
I realized that this was at the lowest
( R" M) v) e9 T6 S( I4 F) m6 Tand saddest times in my life.
/ t5 [9 v. z0 J% H" ]$ K$ u. Y, p. aThis always bothered me
1 D7 s8 G, J# i* M$ P& n7 U3 p/ X3 dand I questioned the Lord  E7 t& ?) l$ t' w1 T& I7 o5 `
about my dilemma.
( H  K) J$ f( w' S"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,+ j* s/ s( A% G( y! R# C
You would walk and talk with me all the way.  @. ^+ H8 Y0 R$ r' b+ g
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
$ X% K/ {5 {, ~3 c8 M' mtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.  n9 [* d3 T/ D' J! ?. }
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
5 D& A9 A: @8 [* y3 @* e, x: Vyou leave me."
0 Q3 p1 d( I5 }6 m' \He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,# h% l! B+ d, `3 X. V5 }  p) u1 b( j
I love you and will never leave you! q  q  a9 J4 E0 ]) C* x
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.: j" I- \0 E! }' z* J0 v
When you saw only one set of footprints
