) n) T* [' E+ V5 W0 R6 ROne night I had a dream& ]$ B7 W: s; i: d& P# w( U
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. ' R! K& `4 C B. b6 L) l; b' KAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life. 4 i/ I3 V/ {$ `, QFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,$ a6 {1 s. g! }7 W! R% H6 h& P! H
one belonging to me 5 h6 J% V6 F i* r; t" Iand the other to my Lord. 8 d( U/ m, d, w+ ^8 u7 AWhen the last scene of my life shot before me" h% Y4 d) ^" Q, _' x
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.5 C9 T6 G7 I; u9 }+ t+ E" h* V9 |
There was only on set of footprints.) a. F. o2 \% ^9 U! [: Z1 T% N1 D
I realized that this was at the lowest 2 _9 U9 G5 j( w" {+ @3 ~
and saddest times in my life.- m: o. o- J+ y
This always bothered me 3 T( [" U8 M& r! fand I questioned the Lord% E7 x' S( l; D7 D0 Z( f
about my dilemma.& d# N' l- a# w% ^
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You, # L6 Z, F+ `/ A! TYou would walk and talk with me all the way.9 l$ o, P U2 s! \' i0 A/ z
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 7 j3 s1 l/ z& j, Ztimes of my life there is only one set of footprints. * p, r( @* H$ q2 v9 a# }I don't understand why, when I needed You most, 2 u) v/ v' e! [+ o5 D# cyou leave me."3 F& J' U9 j) |9 r7 ~1 T
