7 d) V) M7 `$ K' K8 ?9 sOne night I had a dream
, b3 O. e. s/ j4 [- L/ I$ [' b% dI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
, g' c" j# D2 t# i1 j! @% LAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life., a9 z6 [- I) m4 C2 t. {5 S. W. p
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
. W* D* x: p$ }one belonging to me' k) A4 d. r# q1 L
and the other to my Lord.
( [1 S1 ], i0 OWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
+ F4 k! d8 Y  E( ?) w  d/ ~I looked back at the footprints in the sand.# E' m8 z3 X: a& h5 `& Q( c' q, u, a
There was only on set of footprints.$ _# s& B% c) M& y3 g
I realized that this was at the lowest , a# H+ `3 s- F3 q6 o& \4 w
and saddest times in my life./ e/ \3 a& M# N4 W' |; Z
This always bothered me
0 M$ ?, E  \; U+ g6 {and I questioned the Lord
, e" W- z" ~/ U' S, Pabout my dilemma.
# ^4 k# @; N/ A3 `$ r1 ?* h: M  u"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,; K1 R# T; ]4 @; f& h
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
0 R  l) U8 d2 h" g, e, B& HBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome ; _1 ^* v# X% T. |# B
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.3 d5 C3 C# F8 m4 i3 J, J, l$ `. c
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
' h4 @/ p% R+ O. @& H- _you leave me."& j  }, c2 z+ a# j, u9 X- r9 L% B0 W
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,

When you saw only one set of footprints
