One night I had a dream
  g. @( F: I+ _$ y6 i: T. ~I was walking along the beach with my Lord.( m9 ^1 {& q0 w# T8 P8 K, i
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.5 d9 `) o/ c6 _5 q
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,. w6 |$ u& D. I/ s9 w
one belonging to me- M6 y2 p" \, Z% T* L
and the other to my Lord.# Z: p6 U6 t- |
When the last scene of my life shot before me
4 u9 T8 @/ f2 F" vI looked back at the footprints in the sand.5 Q% ^4 m( o5 \6 f6 `1 j
There was only on set of footprints.
, V# N2 C* v% B: p. q, o. PI realized that this was at the lowest
2 _* R7 f- ]/ A9 u2 u* d* ]* Band saddest times in my life.
3 y- e1 S+ L6 p( u9 jThis always bothered me
% t' {9 P1 u, o  Zand I questioned the Lord
2 }' e; l* v. N$ {  b- U, K4 p4 Pabout my dilemma.
% P* Y* Z4 T0 t5 u" v& U"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,2 M$ @/ \- O) S4 o; t8 A
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
( v( }1 [' l0 I0 D6 RBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
8 c; t! \+ C- U+ W9 ~5 |. Xtimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
2 ~) t. a, i* ^$ M$ s8 H, I4 EI don't understand why, when I needed You most, " d0 n( f- I2 _
you leave me."
1 z& W8 F4 |1 y( x* W9 |7 MHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
