Footprints in the Sand4 j7 ~1 h4 n6 F' H

One night I had a dream
+ l4 e5 S+ j+ @( bI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
9 u1 y, g; U* }. b6 XAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life./ y7 ?' s' C. k9 R$ w
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
# d  r3 \, O. a4 H% ~8 ]one belonging to me3 c" j9 e& u' D4 U
and the other to my Lord.
* j: i8 a* ^" b. J- Y, ZWhen the last scene of my life shot before me+ \. K& C( B  J
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.5 ~+ ]7 T( v3 d- ^9 }, y. A  |
There was only on set of footprints.
/ G" U  a  p% I2 h6 U( N6 O5 RI realized that this was at the lowest " \8 w. ]3 H  w) r$ w( w
and saddest times in my life./ b1 E1 W7 {3 I* R% a/ F
This always bothered me , ^% ^3 i: J3 y' K! r) S9 `3 T; Z6 G
and I questioned the Lord7 p# B" w$ M. @: J0 ]
about my dilemma.
4 F  E( }8 H3 l" i5 h"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,: }$ m- C7 Z* X2 ~
You would walk and talk with me all the way.3 t& K5 Y0 U3 t
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome ( R. y" M; ]5 U& T/ j6 K/ s
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
$ h: F, c' j7 sI don't understand why, when I needed You most, $ j, N' I! z' }  w
you leave me."
' _+ [4 h  X* z2 X, Y  u2 {' ZHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
5 y/ O, i$ R1 k0 _& sI love you and will never leave you

When you saw only one set of footprints
