One night I had a dream
( N" i# m0 a( [) w3 HI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
, @0 _6 a- x; h$ l0 j6 d9 F, gAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life./ J4 e* g" I7 x! k- e
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
  X: r: k$ }0 U( g2 t: [+ T7 g& c$ b/ @one belonging to me0 c2 f% d+ N0 o8 @- {
and the other to my Lord.. l# d) M- ~* q) i4 G7 ~, I
When the last scene of my life shot before me# A/ P; L+ D3 R3 |0 s0 w- K
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.3 h. \1 R5 g2 s
There was only on set of footprints.
  ^  d) @' n: w. p# q1 @" {. nI realized that this was at the lowest 6 v3 E- D( I! ?. y
and saddest times in my life.5 S8 S# Q4 }8 B2 E' \3 w! L1 m
This always bothered me 2 |) Q% Y' Q* G/ a
and I questioned the Lord
* M: ]" {! q* h7 W0 eabout my dilemma.
! b8 q0 V$ A& Y. C1 c"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,9 O9 I- m5 P" M
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
  b) O% V% z0 L: c/ rBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome * u1 ]; d4 C1 D) \
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
; G6 ~! T2 _! m9 j) \- XI don't understand why, when I needed You most,
0 H, y$ v& s! ?+ s7 h$ D! U+ Xyou leave me."
& m# l, u. t+ I  J- ?. T) p* uHe whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
2 p7 C* T, A( D+ N! \' d' oI love you and will never leave you
( \: B# h/ B9 |  T- Anever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
$ v! Q# o, @0 `) J* UWhen you saw only one set of footprints
