Lord,
/ d I' n6 S" n& w% ihaving transformed e* A& _0 v. \8 G! k- q
sunshine and soil and water and seed,
8 ~8 w3 G" G* A/ N2 q6 Tinto food upon which we are soon to feed, 2 X. M- c8 C4 ~0 s) ~0 Z
we thank you for life and we want to stay well, ?) k u/ q1 M" C0 u& f
so we promise to rub our hands with Purell.! X2 E7 @) g' r. A( c6 E* n
We who came first and are ready to dine
" @( R" b' b- @9 Y: S: t+ C- K7 Lthank you that we’re not still waiting in line, : G( T& c. V) I
but for those who are hungry and eagerly wait, * c1 H* U# ~, v5 ?
we shall not be greedy and heap up our plate.* g# Q4 k8 v% T) {/ B L. E
Instead we’ll be thoughtful of all the others : Z' W* o8 }9 Y3 x& m# s
the way we were taught by our own loving mothers.+ }* w3 k0 C; A6 O6 q' \

We smell the potatoes all spicy and roasted
- _+ `) T; A( _ {( U. Uthe aroma of casseroles perfectly toasted
