One night I had a dream; M: b! `& i$ o. Z7 C' W. m
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
' Y( w; F. }; Y  d/ j1 K" B" rAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.
. q6 e+ I3 T  q5 `6 [8 YFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,% W+ u& D3 \1 a1 c9 z
one belonging to me
; j' ^4 |  d; s, K' O% c8 Q# qand the other to my Lord.
! q& g; ~; x! oWhen the last scene of my life shot before me
" Y% F& U) `8 C! z3 DI looked back at the footprints in the sand.7 x' k& U7 d% `
There was only on set of footprints.
/ a8 O# g3 j( p0 a4 e- b* fI realized that this was at the lowest
9 Q7 w0 Y! X# i' y1 t5 k! _and saddest times in my life.3 O( Q! I$ K4 Y, b" `+ I
This always bothered me
/ A& W8 R% d7 C5 w* Fand I questioned the Lord# ~; w! f6 o9 ^/ E: x. M/ {
about my dilemma.% f# s$ x1 |/ `- j/ J
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,5 n) Q9 Z7 P- n  D7 f9 A
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
& M* r; @7 M* x9 hBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome
3 L) ~- P( a- m, W1 Ktimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
+ F/ `) M! l" A7 ?I don't understand why, when I needed You most, ( f1 l2 O3 A& S4 g2 {6 f- f1 S
you leave me."
