One night I had a dream
2 A: ^+ R/ |' p& P3 A8 lI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
/ t- v$ O8 k( uAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.# e; z0 `) o& Y/ P5 i* G2 M
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,1 \/ R: o& z6 F3 ~9 Y
one belonging to me
( Q9 p( x5 W# Dand the other to my Lord.
5 _8 p1 z" f: w7 _When the last scene of my life shot before me
. ]# I7 b) P# |, S7 S' lI looked back at the footprints in the sand.
/ N$ h3 U: `4 kThere was only on set of footprints.5 b1 L0 d$ g% n( N  A, `5 E
I realized that this was at the lowest " B" w/ m9 N9 W& Z" D+ ^% x, ^  ]
and saddest times in my life.
. K- U$ X" T- {0 }This always bothered me - Y0 R! |$ _. V, l2 u
and I questioned the Lord
$ ?2 r/ G; v2 X8 g' }7 dabout my dilemma.5 U# N! z4 h- L% w
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,8 _/ q6 I9 b7 |" b) A. a# j0 G7 r
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
4 I2 h) T$ R$ [& T8 ^7 W9 o* [, {& _But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
$ _& t4 S3 B/ ]' d* O: ~" R# c' P6 I& h5 Ptimes of my life there is only one set of footprints.
0 _+ @: w  Y) TI don't understand why, when I needed You most, ) C6 Z/ F) Y( W+ h5 W, i
you leave me.". ?" m' ]/ R" L0 e' J+ o) H
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,4 ~# a8 r1 S/ L/ L0 ]! N
I love you and will never leave you
8 S3 z8 B. ?# w4 W: F3 dnever, ever during your times of trial and testings.- C4 ]8 T- t7 x$ R" S, k+ E7 T
When you saw only one set of footprints
1 ^$ v" T4 z5 w) b6 X  a2 gIt was then that I carried you."+ T! G' Y# [# \' T; j- Y( P
