7 x5 q2 R* W0 h- H9 P. ^One night I had a dream
# ~; r  L5 k6 k( ^8 f9 ?- UI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
( L3 d8 t+ E0 ^Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.. A) L- U$ d# }3 k& F
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,6 }! ~! S! M9 q* T/ l  C# t. u
one belonging to me
  U+ R3 Q- I8 M: c' Jand the other to my Lord.
( @% X: Z. J  k$ V, @% _When the last scene of my life shot before me: t! _% B- C: H2 y8 V) ]" T- B& m
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.: A( X6 D( l3 N8 }
There was only on set of footprints.& \) r$ l% L& ^! X( o5 Z  b) K
I realized that this was at the lowest
! n6 ~8 J8 Y2 k1 n4 w3 ?4 Tand saddest times in my life.
, Q+ o; e7 B( N. bThis always bothered me
: l9 b2 a0 W) T- ?* V, e, Gand I questioned the Lord: Z( D6 m* ]1 g1 M/ Q
about my dilemma./ [- F' z5 Y2 m
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,  \  ?# @6 n) m1 e5 N6 D$ l
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
/ W) g$ z0 T" O  ~But I'm aware that during the most troublesome - b2 E" L1 `4 i1 I6 L
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.9 {. {$ D' v. _. i+ F; m5 ]# D
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, + h/ ?% i4 Y! w, ~
you leave me."% b1 s. @. c$ O# Z  V2 }
